Leo and Felix,
Congratulations on your successful fundraiser. I was very impressed with the effort and enthusiasm you put into carrying out this unique event. Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire is proud to be a recipient of your efforts. We especially appreciate your goal to “raise awareness for the conservation of Bonaire’s nature and animals so that people can continue enjoy this unique eco system now and in the future”. Klein Bonaire is a sanctuary for sea turtles as it provides high-quality foraging, breeding and nesting grounds them. We also know that increased use from cruise tourists, picnickers, private and rental boat traffic, and divers/snorkelers require that it is well managed so that these changes don’t negatively impact the beauty and value of KB. Your fundraiser is helping STCB and STINAPA to raise that awareness! Congrats again!

Eco Dive Bonaire 2010

Welcome!

Welcome to the website of ECODIVE BONAIRE 2010. On Monday the 27th december 2010  Leo Hoogenboom and Felix Faassen will raise money for STINAPA and Sea Turtle Conservation by diving around Klein Bonaire in one single dive. The dive is more than 10 miles in length and will take the divers 12-16 hours to complete. During the dive the team will be supported by a surface support team.

This way they would like  to raise awareness for the conservation of Bonaire’s nature and animals so that people of Bonaire and abroad can continue enjoy this unique eco system now and in the future. The event is made possible by Captain Don’s Habitat, Bonaire.

On this website you can read all about this event, the preperation, training and last but not least how to support this event on this site. Enjoy and we hope to see you on the 27th of December!

Donating is no longer possible. Check locally what you can do to protect our planet, people and wildlife.
